Gli obelischi, originariamente, erano due e collocati simmetricamente uno di fronte all’altro per indicare l’ingresso del paese da Buccheri, Buscemi e Palazzolo. Oggi ne è rimasto solo uno ed è simbolo nello stemma del Comune di Cassaro.
The obelisks, originally, were two and placed symmetrically one in front of each other to indicate the entrance of the town by Buccheri, Buscemi and Palazzolo. Today there is only one left and it is a symbol in the coat of arms of the Municipality of Cassaro.
